Spring constant is a term used to describe the stiffness of a spring. It is a measure of the amount of force required to compress or stretch a spring by a certain distance. Spring constant is an important parameter used in designing and selecting springs for various applications. Knowing the spring constant allows engineers to determine the load capacity of a spring and its deflection under a given load. This information is critical for us to design springs that can meet the specific requirements, such as maintaining a constant force, absorbing shock, or returning a component to its original position. Check out our blog post to learn more about spring constant formula.
Our lead time can vary depending on the complexity of the spring, the type and the quantity you require. Generally, we aim to provide a quote within 24-48 hours of receiving your request and can manufacture most custom springs within 4-6 weeks.
